Publisher agreement
This is a reporter.pics service policy, not personalised legal advice. The operator’s legal name, address and registry details will be completed when the company is formed. The Turkish and English versions are the operative texts.

1. Parties
This Agreement is between [FULL LEGAL NAME OF OPERATOR] (“Platform Operator”) and a publisher whose application has been accepted (“Publisher”). The Member Terms and Community Guidelines also apply. On publisher-specific subjects this Agreement prevails, subject to mandatory law. Acceptance is electronic via the confirmation on /apply.
2. Independent status
The Publisher is an independent creator. This Agreement alone does not create employment, partnership or general agency. The Publisher is responsible for the lawfulness of its content. The Platform retains mandatory moderation duties.
3. Application and verification
The application may collect legal name, date of birth, nationality, ID/passport number, phone, address, tax details and IBAN. Immediate ability to write does not mean verification or payouts are complete. Payouts may be held while documents are checked. Misleading information may lead to appropriate action.
The account stays a ghost in the news feed until the first-post threshold (default 5) and a visibility review. Enforcement restrictions are reasoned.
4. Content licence
The Publisher keeps ownership and warrants the necessary rights. For the term of the Agreement, a worldwide non-exclusive licence to operate the Platform and display content through paid membership includes, only as needed: reproduction on servers and backups; display, formatting and translation into supported languages; making available to members; communication to the public via web and app; Radar fingerprinting. Off-Platform promotion or sublicensing is not included unless separately agreed.
5. Revenue definitions
- ISO week: Monday 00:00–Sunday 23:59 UTC.
- Pool start: the monetisation week set in Admin (pool_start_date).
- Gross revenue: paid subscription receipts booked in the calendar month (Stripe).
- Net revenue: those receipts after refunds, chargebacks and provider deductions as recorded.
- Publisher Pool: 70% of Net revenue (rate editable in Admin). This is the aggregate pool, not 70% promised to each publisher.
6. Allocation
Weekly statements appear at /earnings. Share follows that week’s weighted eligible engagement. Default weights: likes 5, comments 8, quotes 6, saves 14, dwell seconds 1; views 0 (editable). Original body length of about 250 characters is required. Ghost, payouts-off or banned accounts are excluded. Fraudulent engagement may be removed from the calculation.
The weekly amount is a 7-day slice of that calendar month’s booked pool. No specific earnings are guaranteed.
7. Payouts
Withdrawals are requested on Earnings to a verified IBAN in the Publisher’s name. Staff review each request; the amount cannot exceed unpaid balance. There is no default minimum (payout_min_cents). Ledger currency is the Stripe currency (default USD); on-screen FX is display only. Bank/FX fees depend on the route. Refunds, chargebacks, fraud or calculation errors may be offset in later periods.
Affiliate earnings are separate and follow the Affiliate Terms.
8. Tax
The Publisher remains responsible for tax, invoicing and documents. Statutory deductions appear on the statement.
9. Radar authorisation
By using Radar the Publisher authorises fingerprinting, public-web search, match collection and notices sent only on request. This is not legal representation. Text threshold 25% (10–80), visual 72%. A match does not prove infringement. Automatic notices to public authorities are off. Notices may include the account name/handle and hello@reporter.pics. Radar may be turned off; existing correspondence follows the Privacy Policy.
10. Termination
Serious breaches may lead to immediate measures. The Publisher may leave via hello@reporter.pics or account deletion. Valid amounts accrued to termination are settled under the payout rules.
11. Changes and law
Material changes are announced in the service. Intent and gross negligence cannot be excluded. Governing law will be that of the operator’s establishment (to be stated when company details are completed). Contact: hello@reporter.pics.
